good golf course in north carolina just off of i95?
My family and I will be passing through North Carolina on the way to South Carolina, and I am trying to find a good golf course just off of I-95 that we can play. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm moving from Michigan to either North Carolina or South Carolina I haven't decided yet.I'm moving south for jobs, sunshine, warm weather, golf, and most importantly fishing.I don't want to live ON the coast because of weather (storms/rain) and I don't want to be too close to the mountains for the same reason (cold/snow)I don't want to be directly IN the big cities like Charlotte, NC or Columbia, SC but I'd like it if I was within a short commute.So far I have been most interested in places like Hickory, NC and Rock Hill, SC. I know that I don't want to live any further north than Charlotte and wouldn't mind living as far south as Charleston, SC.What are some nice small to midsized cities that meet these conditions??? Keep in mind I love to fish and golf so being close by lakes and golf courses is key.Thanks
Which golf courses should i play on the east coast for spring break?
I am planning on traveling south on I-95 to play some random golf courses that wont break the bank. There are 2 of us making this venture starting March 5 and ending March 10th. I do not feel like driving south of north carolina. We are leaving from Philadelphia. I also do not want to venture too far off of 95.
When this happens can the people get any kind of compensation?
Saw a news program on the erosion of beach/land in South Carolina. One golf course has already lost their 18th hole and homes/hotels will next to be taken into the ocean. They have huge sand bags up but the ocean takes them out like they were nothing.What I wanted to know is will these people just lose their property and be out the money or will they be able to get something for their loss; and if so, from whom? I'm surprised their insurance company doesn't drop them. I worked with someone once who reported a leaning tree to her insurance company and they dropped them. The tree was on a next door property and the people would do nothing about it. the insurance company said it was a hazard. Obviously no one can buy these properties. Personally, I'd get out now before it's to late and you see all your personal possessions fall into the ocean along with the house. What a decision to have to make.

What is a good college for business in south carolina?
I need to find a good college in North/South Carolina. I want to get a degree in BA. I do not really care about Division 1 or the "name" of the school. I just want somewhere that is affordable and well run. I also want to be near many golf courses and kinda close to the beach. I plan to get my degree in 2 years. ( I have my AA ). Anyone got any suggestions? thanks

I need help finding a course please?
I need to find a cheap golf course around the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina. I will be going there the first week of march and would love to play golf. I have a very small budget for this though. Does anyone know of a place where I can find the cheapest courses. I just need golf. I don't need a full golf package. I will have myself and my girlfriend golfing and I was looking to spend about $30 each just for one round. Is this possible or is it more expensive than this. Any help would be appreciated.

I will be graduationg professional golfers career college in decemeber. And I was wondering what companies or golf courses are open for jobs in the arizona and nevada area. I am currently in South Carolina now and I want to move out west. But I need a job first. Am i responsible for breaking a window from a bad golf shot? different circumstances?
I was playing golf in South Carolina when I hooked a shot and broke a window on a house adjacent to the course. I'm just a poor college student and certainly didn't want to pay so I just kept playing without giving the screaming lady my information. She proceeded to call the police who came out on the course and got my info.I'm from Connecticut so I'm wondering how she could possibly sue me for the damage. She couldn't do it in SC because they have no jurisdiction and she couldn't do it in federal court because the amount is too low. Let me know what your thoughts are. Am I off the hook?
How do i get a scholarship for golf?
I have been playing golf for about 3 years and have improved drastically over those 3 years. My biggest goal is to play college golf somewhere in the south, preferably North Carolina. Currently I shoot about an 88 on 18 and have an average drive of 240. The weakest area of my game is my short game. I am starting to play in lots of tournaments as the spring nears. Academically I am set, I hold a 3.7 and take a heavy load of honors and AP courses. Is there anything else I need to be doing? Also I am right handed and have had a reconstruction surgery and cartilage revision surgery done on my left knee. Will that make it harder for me to get a scholarship?
What would a golf course legally have to do to not allow me on the course?
I live on a golf course in South Carolina. The management just changed and they''ve been acting different towards me going on the course and fishing, or running (which I understand). If this were to continue- what would the golf course have to do to BAN me from the golf course? Them telling me i can't go fishing in what is practically my back yard is going to have to take more than the people that work there telling me I can't be on the course. I've been living here 15 years and find this very disturbing. Please let me know any positive advice you can give me on this issue. Thanks |
