I built a website offering links to New Jersey golf courses. I want to make the site worth remembering. Any suggestions on what to add to the site to make it more interesting? www.newjerseygolftrip.info
I've only played it once, but I like Atlantis in Ocean County. It's cheap and was in great condition when I played there. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.
About 20 years ago I went to my dad's friend's Country Club (very expensive I believe about 100k a year) to play golf. This was in Bernardsville New Jersey or Close by. The name was an American Indian name. And what I remember vividly is that they had one hole where you have to hit the ball from the top of a cliff and the hole is down on a small island in the middle of a lake that you would have to use the boat to get to to putt. I want to recommend this place to a wealthy friend that is an avid golfer but I cannot remember the name. That hole is the most memorable thing I remember. Besides the fact that most of the members in that club were hardcore republicans. You would see many rich or powerful people there. Does anyone know where I am talking about?? I google mapped a couple of places but I am not sure whether or not it's any of those or not. The names I have found so far are: Roxiticus Golf Course, Somerset Hills Country Club, Basking Ridge Country Club... That's all I got so far. I know the name was native American Indian. And one of the holes. And also that you could not join without one or two members endorsing you, and that it was supremely expensive.I hope someone knows this place and can tell me. The area is around Bernardsville, or Morristown.
