Pay and play golf courses in the south?Maragret
I was wondering if anyone nows any good pay and play golf courses in the south of england. Prefferably around hampshire or berkshire. Many thanks.

Near Hampshire, one of the better golf courses is Brokenhurst Manor Golf Club (http://www.brokenhurst-manor.org.uk/). It was designed in 1913 by the famous architect Harry Colt. It's somewhat short at only 6,200 yards, but there are 8 very strong holes, including the 421-yard 17th, perhaps the best on the course.Another good choice near Hampshire is Barton-on-Sea Golf Club (http://www.barton-on-sea-golf.co.uk/). As its name suggests, the sea is almost always in view.
