meadow lake golf coursemontana? has anyone golfed here before??? how was it??? is it a hard course, many water holes??? what about the staff???
I just moved to roy wa from montana and i am trying to find the nearest disk golf course? I have never been up to your area but I can recommend a great site where you can see all the courses that are around and how people have rated them. There is also a great community on the site that can answer any questions you might have about disc golf. http://www.dgcoursereview.com/(Just go to Course Directory and Browse For Courses. Then you can input your zipcode)I did a search for your Zip Code and the closest one is Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, WA and is about 15 miles from you.You can also search on the PDGA site Course Directory. It doesn't have the reviews but normally has good directions and course info. http://www.pdga.com/course_directoryGood Luck Finding a Good One
Idaho and montana golf course recommendations??? Thinking of a golf trip. I know of Coeur D'Alene Golf Resort in Idaho along with Circling Raven in Worley. (Anyone stay at the casino out there???) Any other North Idaho courses you would recommend? How about in Montana. There is The Old Works in Anaconda. What about the Whitefish / Kalispell area? Any "should play" out there???
Have you ever played golf? in MontanaMontana Golfing Rules The Montana State Department of Fish and Wildlife is advising golfers totake extra precautions and be on the alert for bears while playing onGallatin, Helena, and Lewis and Clark National Forests Golf Courses. They advise golfers to wear noise-producing devices such as little bells ontheir clothing to alert, but not to startle the bears unexpectedly. They also advise you to carry pepper spray in the case of an encounter witha bear. It is also a good idea to watch for signs of bear activity. Golfers shouldbe able to recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly beardroppings on the golf course. Black bear droppings are smaller and contain berries and possibly squirrelfur. Grizzly bear droppings have bells in them and smell like pepper spray |
