wheres a golf course management school in michigan? can u tell me a bit more abour golf course managment?Eldon
I think it would be cool to go into golf course management. Where are some colleges in michigan offer this course? What classes should I take in high school?

The only college in Michigan to offer a program like this is Ferris State University. Which is where i will be going. The program is called PGM (professional golf management). This is what i am going into myself.

See if you can job-shadow or at least interview local golf course professionals and workers. Ask them how they got where they are today and what they would suggest in terms of classes to take, extracuriculars, etc. Find out what their favorite (and least favorite) things about the job/industry are. Soak in as much information as you can.Not only will they help you with your decisions now, they may become important contacts for you in 5 years or so when you're looking for your first job in the industry.
