Where has the pga played in massachusetts?Halina
I want to get my fiance lessons and/or a game of golf somewhere in MA, but I thought it would be fun if he got to play on the same course as some of the professionals. Any suggestions?

Three sites spring to mind: 1) TPC Boston in Norton, home of the PGA Tour's Deutsche Bank Championship, one of the FedExCup Playoff events. 2) The Country Club in Brookline. Hosted the 1999 Ryder Cup and three U.S. Opens including the 1913 edition won by Francis Ouimet, chronicled in the movie "The Greatest Game Ever Played." 3) Pleasant Valley CC in Sutton. Hosted the PGA Tour's CVS Charity Classic through 1998. Long-time host of the LPGA Championship as well. Links to all three are below. Good luck! Great gift.

Myopia Hunt Club hosted numerous US Opens in the early 1900's. Its a great example of how golf has changed from classic courses to modern courses.
