How can a 15 year old play golf more than once a week in chicagoland il?Alena
I'm 15 years old and live in the Chicago area of Illinois. I personally have fallen in love with the game; however, pricing is fairly expensive to play a round of golf. Coming from a Middle class family of a single mother, it is very hard to have the money to go play a round of Golf. I would love to become much better at the game, and it is one of my dreams to play with the pros someday. But if I cannot afford the costs of the courses, how else can I play? Any input is welcome. Get a job at a golf course. Seriously. I work at one and I golf whenever I want. This is the perfect time to apply because lots of students are going back to university out of town so there'll be openings. On top of that, you find a golf ball in the deep roughs that doesn't belong to anybody, it's yours. Personally, I don't have to worry about buying anymore golf balls.

Join the golf teama at your school. I can go golf at my local course any time any day and do whatever i want for free because im on the team. it improves my game and its free! good luck!

When you turn 16, get a job as a caddy for next summer. I know of a couple of scholarships which are given to caddies.
