Have anyone ever been to a wedding at sugar creek golf course in villa park illinois?Otto If so, do you have any ideas for decorations. Even if you were just a guest.
Evangeline I just called (630) 834-3325 and talked with the General Manager, Greg. I asked if they do weddings there. On their website they only list anniversaries, baptisms, birthdays, rehearsal dinners, showers, graduations, and meetings. They don't say anything about weddings. When I spoke with Greg he said that they can do weddings there. They have a maximum of 100 guests though. There's a fireplace, bar, and a deck that overlooks the golf course. He said the deck has 11 tables that seat 4. For decorations, your best bet would be to pick a color scheme and go with flowers and fabric in those colors. The second link I gave is a great site to see different color combinations together. Look at the combinations and choose one that you like. If you want to do a lot of the decorations yourself, you can go to fabric stores and buy yards of a sheer or satin fabric and you can drape and tie it strategically to create a beautiful effect. Add a bunch of fresh flowers and you're set!If it's a night wedding, get a bunch of small votive candles and put a couple on each table. For my wedding we got ours at Ikea. We just bought like 4 flats of votive candle holders and candles and each table had 5 or 6. Then I asked my friends and guests to take the candle holders when they left, if they like. I think we still have a flat of them though. :) Also, you can use your bridesmaids bouquets to decorate the cake table. I thought that was a good idea and it looks really cute at my wedding. :)Congratulations and have a great wedding!!!
