weather.com goto my neighborhood and choose local golf courses, you enter a zip or town and they all pop up, I use this site a lot!!It also gives conditions of the course (1 thru 10, 10 being the best)

Sorry but the bad news is that there is almost NO public golf around Lake Oconee. Reynolds Plantation says they’re public but read the fine print, most of the Reynolds courses are for hotel guests only. The rates at the hotel itself start at $300 per night.Harbor Club and Cuscowilla are public but still very expensive. I think you have to know someone at Cuscowilla or be a hotel guest too. Some good alternatives are Long Shadow golf club or Creek at Hard Labor. If you want a good deal, play Hard Labor. It’s a Georgia State forest preserve course and beautiful. Long Shadow is new and so I don’t know it’s reputation yet.The Lake Oconee area is well-known for its socioeconomic discrimination policies. It’s the only way to keep poorer people from moving there. If you make an area expensive enough, it will keep people out. There are no public docks and very few Georgia Power sponsored swimming areas.
