Am i doing well golfing for a 14 year old?Chun
Im 14, have been golfing for 8 years(like once a week in the summer) but this year ive enjoyed it alot more and i practice with the golf team with my friends 4 to 5 times a week. i recently played one of the toughest championship courses in florida(kingsway golf). i used my grandparents neighbors womens cobras for the first time and shot a 107. i even beat my dad on the front 9. i used the 107 to find my handicap and it came out to be like a 34. so am i doing well for playing on a championship course for the first time? im used to playing crappy courses in western ny

Im 15 and I'm a 5 handicap, I've only been playing for about 3 years. I was a 9-5 handicap while I was 14. But golf is THE HARDEST sport in the world it takes a lot of practice and the best thing is that you are playing and if you get OK now you might be able to play high school golf and then play at a country club when your older and be a lot better than some of the guys who start playing in their 30s. Don't let anybody tell you you're bad, stick with it and practice as much as possible and you will eventually get the hang of it.

Im also 14 and I have a handicap of 14.6. A 107 is decent but you want to shoot in the low 90's to probably make a high school team. A 107 on a championship course is probably around a 100 on a bad course. My best is an 83 On 18 and 40 on 9.

I LIVE IN MICHIGAN AND IM 15 ON MY VARSITY GOLF TEAM WITH A 7 HANDICAP. OUR TEAM IS A STATE ELITE TEAM AND WE PLAY THE BEST CONDITIONS AND COURSES. HOWEVER IVE BEEN PLAYING SINCE I WAS 2 SO DONT WORRY ABOUT YOUR SCORES YET BECAUSE UR STILL YOUNG AND UR BODY WILL DEVELOPE SO KEEP WORKING AND PLAY FOR FUN

I am 13 and have a handicap of 8 for 18 and I have only been playing golf for 1 year and 3 months! And by reading some of these other comments a lot of people are low so practice, practice, practice to get better.

You can do better.Work on your short game Alot. but it doesn't sound too badgood luck
