What is wrong with our world and society?Carman Gee now we have seen everything here in Colorado lingerie footballhas just begun, yes play football in our lingerie while down at the golfcourse men playing golf in their underwear and people even ski in theirunderwear at the ski resorts take a double look at all this have we lostour morals or what" even on television there is more nudity these days
Dianne I think that, in general, western society has become more tolerant to partial nudity in the last decades. Take as an example the bikini. When it came out it was a scandal. Now it's just normal to see women wearing bikini on the beach or where a pool is. I don't think there's necessarily something wrong but there is no doubt that there seems to be more nudity on TV and the media in general. My explanation to that is that people are still morbid so seeing a naked body is still something people like to do but don't like to accept. Lingerie football and people doing sports in lingerie is also about drawing the attention of the public to the players and the game, so in the end it's a marketing strategy to attract viewers. It's interesting that what was considered to be inmoral in the past is almost totally acceptable now. For example women showing their naked or almost naked breasts. Have you noticed that now the inmorality frontier is the nipples? If a woman shows all of her breasts naked except her nipples it is considered to still be ok. However, if she shows even a tiny part of her nipples then it is wrong. Why??? why are the nipples the difference between nude and not nude (when talking about breasts). Nipples area is perhaps less than 5% of the breasts area yet showing the other 95% of the breasts naked is still ok... weird isn't it?
Libbie I'm actually too busy worrying about the over 400,000 people that have been slaughtered in the genocide in Darfur and the tens of thousands of people in the world who die from malnutrition everyday to concern myself with playing nipple police to a bunch of bimbos playing football. But that's just me.
Brandi Morals are not the problem. Listening and communicating is the problem. If something on TV offends you, turn it off. Don't risk your immortal soul when you have the power to stop it. Take up reading instead, because you can choose what you read. But the big problems are in listening and communicating. Auto companies still haven't heard that we want cars without huge gas bills. Governments don't listen to the poor (my own country hasn't increased its social security payments in more than 2 years, how much has food and gas and rent gone up since then?). Banks are making obscene profits and paying obscene bonuses but when they then teeter on collapse, you and I have to bail them out??? How fair is that? The animal kingdom is also crying to be heard as we push it to the margins and extinction, but we're not listening. And the world itself is creaking and groaning and speaking to us in weather patterns that should tell us we are NOT LISTENING... Morals won't matter a damn if drought, snow, floods and destructive cyclones wipe us off this map...
Jere I think it's a symptom of something bigger. When people get used to a large variety of imput and stimulation... it takes even MORE to excite the senses. I was able to exist, when I was young, on very little manufactured stimulation. All I needed was the outdoors and a huge imagination. What worries me is what it will take next year to be stimulated... gladitorial games?
Dennis its all about EGO the biggest destroyer all times / nature nor religion is about EGO Ego is rotten not real not touchable nor true nor fulfilling although this world says different... I know its hard to stick to your believes its messed up right now really messed up cos no one takes con-troll or leads us with determination or knowledge SO i advise you to do what you are in your hart your selve your spirit your truth and just ignore all of them that's what i do and it works cos there comes a day SOON that they are needing us a real religion real guidance a hunger for the real truth
Barbie Well if the people are attractive then hey but if they're ugly then they should be polite and put clothes on. lolbut yeah there's really nothing wrong with the human body. I don't see the big deal. And if you think it's "bad" here then go to Europe. You'd probably have yourself a sweet little heart attack. hahaha
Doretta the world is so distorted and at a loss of morals because of who rules it... get your bible and read 1 john 5:19 it says the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one! so many people are lovers of pleasure than lovers of jehovah God!
Hana It's very strange that you somehow consider nudity immoral? I wonder what irrational fear it could be for you to deny something so pleasing to the eye to the public.
Eldora hmmmmMen love football. Men love women. Men love with women in lingerie. Makes perfect sense to me!If you don't like it, don't watch it. Easy.
Bret there are too many evil paedophile parasitic priests selling their false god to us... thats whats WRONG... !! there is NO god.
