I'll be in Denver for a few days this weekend. I'd like to play around but I would love it if I could keep it as cheap as possible. It doesn't have to be a great course, just fun to play and cheap (like def. under $25). any thoughts?

Is it legal to drive a golf cart on a private course while intoxicated?
I golf frequently at a private golf course near my house. They serve alcohol on the course (a snack cart drives around) and I sometimes see people bring their own flasks of liquor to the course. I often see people who are drunk driving the golf carts. Is it legal because it is on private property or could you get a DUI for that? I live in Colorado.

How do you get out of a mortgage when the other wont sell and cant assume the loan because of bad credit?
The mortgage is about 5 years old on a house I part own in Colorado. I've been trying to get off the title and mortgage but my ex-fiance seems to blow me off each time. I don't care about the money I just want out he can have the house. I've told him several times but I guess he does not qualify for an assumption. Now what? I've told him over and over again I don't want to take this to court... but it may be my only option. My credit is getting hit hard because he pays the mortgage late, a lot. I can't afford the house after a career change. He's been paying by himself for years. I told him I want to sell it or just get me off the mortgage. Quick Claim will get me off the Title but not off the mortgage! The mortgage is what is affecting me credit score. It's a fairly new ranch style home in golf course community big corner lot... it will sell if he'd let it. Please help no one seems to have any answers! I've more then paid for my mistake of going in on a house and being naive!

We purchased a beautiful home in the resort town of Breckenridge, Colorado, overlooking the golf course. In November, we had a hiccup in our finances. Because of a pending refinance, we weren't worried, but it was taking a long time for them to create a new loan package for us. On January 4th, they told us that it may very well take closer to the end of the month to get everything together, maybe sooner. At the same time, the bank told us we had to bring the loan up to speed by January 31st or they would file foreclosure proceedings. Thereafter, we were told on February 1st that the refinance company had $12 million in defaults in January, and they had to respectfully decline. We are now in foreclosure and our FICO score has been hit hard by the foreclosure on our credit. We need someone to buy the house and lease it back to us in order to refinance in 6-12 months. I was there for a wedding last week (first time to ever go, and certainly the last) and was told the newest casion "The Wynn" cost 9 billion to build. Golf courses in the desert? The Colorado River does not rich the Baja penninsula anymore and they are building golf courses in the desert for that much money? 9 billion could cure some serious problems for nations of the third world. You multiply 9 billion by the amount of casinos on the strip, how can you not cry for the world?

I am 17 years old and i have been playing for 8 months. I live in colorado so i cant play everyday but on the days i cant, i hit golf balls for 3-4 hours in my garage. two days ago i shot a 76 from the tips at the local golf course. i am using nike forged blades and have a swing speed of 109mph. i also am totally self taught between reading books and studying pros like bubba watson because we have a similar build. i am lacking putting but am working on it. what are my chances if i keep working hard and start taking lessons?

I like Kennedy where Hampden curves and turns into Havana up at the edge of Denver... Just take Parker up to Dartmouth just past 225 and hang a left till you hit Havana hang another left and you can't miss it on your left. 18 is $23 during the week and $27 on Fri-Sun and the par 3 course is like 8 bucks I think. They've got 27 holes plus the par 3 course on site so whatever you want. |
