We seem to have a mud hen problem on our golf course i need tips on ridding them legally?Faith they are really bad when it comes to eating our turf which leaves one of our holes looking pretty ugly. obviously there is a man made lake next to the hole. we've tried simple techniques such as putting up a fake owl or a fake gator as well as even feeding them so they dont feed on our turf. any advice for us? (keep in mind all advice must meet california regulations especially with repellents.) thank you
Jonnie Talk to your local DNR (Department of Natural Resources) or call a Conservation Officer at the DNR and ask for help.
Collen what is a mud hen????
Cassi Border Collies are a great way to chase these and other problem critters like (in Michigan)we have far too many Canadian Geese border collies love to chase and when they do it harasses them to never want to come back.
Johnathan Call your local wild life office and tell them your problem. They should be able to relocate them to a better suited area. IF they are not willing to do that they can let you know of some ideas and mayne a good pest control program or business that is suited to your needs. I hope this helps and good luck.
