Anyone know any secluded fishing spots in southern california?Delaine i know fisherman are very protective of secret spots and lures, im looking for a generous fisherman. does anyone know a pond on a farm or golf course that holds fish in socal? doesnt really matter if there are a lot of fish just as long as there are fish and its not crowded. im new to fishing and kind of intimidated about going to a large lake and making a fool of myself. i want to get a few basics down b4 i try a lake.
Leena you aren't really in a farm pond type of area. your best bet is just get out there and fish where ever is close to your home and of course read anything and everything you can find on the lake you are going to fish and about the types of fish you might be catching. I learned to fish down there in so cal, it's mostly either overfished or has a fence around it and has to be fished illegally. you can always go up in the gabes and outhike everyone up one the the forks of the san gabriel river
Alfonzo your best learning experience would be to go to some of the major lakes and watch what the other fishermen are doing that are catching some. or the ones at least that look like they know what they're doing and see what they are using. follow their example. that will work a lot better than trial and error all by yourself.
