Whats the best arizona urban fishing spots? My I fish some golf course lakes in sun city and a neighborhood lake near boswell hospital, but is there any others? Ive found that the citys urban lakes kinda suck for fishing, or atleast for bass. which is what im interested in catching. catfish and lake trout fishing is boring and bass is the most exciting. any help would help, thanks :)
Karleen Golf course pond hopping is the way to go to get some good bass here. ASU Research park is good, but gets a lot of pressure. Another place that is good but can get somewhat overfished is the pond on the NW corner of Indian School " Hayden. There is another pond on the Gila River near PIR that is starting to get mentioned in some of the az fishing forums. I've never been there, but if you GoogleEarth it i'm sure you can find it.good luck!
Fred A friend of mine lives in AZ., and has a mobile home on Lake Roosevelt. Swears it's the best lake in the state? Talked at him recently and said he caught some nice Hawgs 5-7 lbers ;)... http://www.angelfire.com/sports/azfishin…
Cammy I like the ASU Research Park (in Tempe just off the 101 and Elliot). I've caught large mouth bass, catfish, white bass, carp (huge carp), blue gill and crappie.
